Does age verification make me legally compliant?
It gives you a documented age gate, which is usually a requirement rather than the whole of it. Obligations vary by product and jurisdiction, so treat it as one part of your compliance, not legal advice.
Will blocking countries hurt my SEO?
Search crawlers are not blocked, so your pages continue to be indexed normally even in regions where shoppers are restricted.
Can determined users still copy my images?
Yes — anything a browser renders can ultimately be captured. Content protection stops casual copying, which is most of it, but it is a deterrent rather than a guarantee.
Does the age gate appear on every visit?
No. The choice is remembered, so returning shoppers are not asked again on every page.
